I'm April

I'm a mama, a wife, a sister, a friend... I'm a candy addict and BIG Tolkien and G.R.R.M fan (if there's an actor in a long blonde wig, I'm a fan). I'm an IVF warrior and a living with a neurological genetic condition. In the Spring, when I'm not taking jaw dropping, powerful images of badasses like you, you'll find me in the u-pick fruit fields, picking more fruit than I could ever eat. My toxic trait is making way too many jars of jam every year.

Also, super guilty of hyper-fixating on one hobby for a minute, and then moving on to the next. Beading, making soaps, candles, embroidery, lotions, knitting, painting- I'd dabble in a little bit of everything. Undiagnosed ADHD? Perhaps. But I prefer to call myself a Jill of all trades haha.

I try to live my life without regrets, because what can sting more and for longer than the bitterness of it? It took me years and years... and years... to finally be able to speak truth to what I'm passionate about. And finally making the commitment to it, to boudoir photography, was scary. Doing things in-spite of that fear, let me tell you, it empowered the hell out of me and I think it can do that for a lot of us.
